The RFD Aerolite liferaft range updates the popular Universal 'U' Series and is available in a wide range of stowages to meet operator needs.
Approved by major international authorities , including the CAA and FAA, the 'Aerolite' series can accommodate up to 46 persons and , combined with specific survival packs, can be tailored to suit special customer requirements.
Manufactured from polyurethane proofed nylon fabric, the RFD Aerolite series provides high survivability with low weight/packed volume benefits. Each Aerolite liferaft has an inflatable canopy support to ensure maximum exposure protection against the most extreme elements.
Available in various stowages including wing-stowages, the Aerolite range is equally suitable for commercial and military use as well as rotary-wing applications. Each liferaft provides:
- Self-erecting high stability twin buoyancy tubes
- Automatic inflation system
- Comprehensive survival packs incl. - AA scales, FAR 91/135, JAR Ops 3
- Protective canopy
- Optional equipment - including customised survival packs, radio transmitters and high intensity light units - is also available.
