Ear Seals are left/right contoured and ergonomically designed to fit the shape of the ear, providing a snug yet comfortable fit. These fabric-faced seals enhance comfort and absorb perspiration. (note: Whenever shifting mic boom from side to side, ear seals must also be switched. Not recommended for ENC headsets other than the X11 series.)

This Electret Microphone is a noise canceling type designed to operate in place of carbon and amplified dynamic microphones. It will not operate in circuits that do not supply a DC bias voltage. Most modern aviation communications equipment do supply this required voltage. If unsure, consult with your radio technical manual or with your local avionics shop.
